Take BART to Civic Center
Go to north end of station, take notice of sign saying ?A1, Grove Street? pointing to right
Exit at Grove Street
Do not exit at B1, 8th and Market, which is to the left
Library is across Grove Street, at entrance marked 40 Grove Street. You will enter 1st floor of library.
Go down stairs to your right, to the Latino/Hispanic room next to exhibit room.
If you enter the library from Larkin or Fulton, go down the stairs to 1st floor, and then down another set of stairs to the Latino/Hispanic room.
If taking SF Muni:
Routes 5, 9, 19, 21, 47, 49, 71, F, J, K, L, M, N, T all go to Civic Center.
For people who insist on driving to the library (parking is VERY expensive and hard to find in the Civic Center):
From East Bay: get off I-80 to Harrison, right on 9th Street to Civic Center.
From Peninsula: get off 101 North to 9th street, north to Civic Center.
From Marin: get off 101 South to Lombard Street, right on Van Ness, left on McAllister to Civic Center.

Santa Cruz Beach Boardwalk
The Santa Cruz Beach Boardwalk is an oceanfront amusement park in Santa Cruz, California. Founded in 1907, it is California’s oldest surviving amusement park and one of the few seaside parks on the West Coast of the United States. So come and Enjoy warm sand, cool surf, hot rides and free entertainment!
Two of our rides are National Historic Landmarks, but don?t let that fool you. The 1924 Giant Dipper wooden roller coaster still thrills riders with its hair-raising dips and turns and the Looff Carousel’s unique ring toss provides a surprising challenge.
Shuttle/Trolley Information:
Boardwalk Free Shuttle Service
Location: Government Center at 701 Ocean Street, Santa Cruz
Fee: Parking $7 per vehicle, Free Shuttle.
Schedule: Weekends and holidays May 24 – August 16 + August 30 – September 1.
Departs Government Center every 1/2 hour: 12:30pm – 5pm.
Return shuttle departs the Boardwalk every 1/2 hour: 1pm – 11pm.

Santa Cruz Trolley
Location: Trolley runs between downtown Santa Cruz and the Wharf/Boardwalk.
Fee: 25 cents each way.
Parking fees vary at downtown lots and meters.
Schedule: Daily, May 24 – September 1. Every 15 minutes on weekends, every 20 minutes on weekdays: 11am – 9pm.
